All By Myself

Dave left for a business trip to DC on Sunday night and will be gone for 4 days. He told me only a couple days before so I didn't have a lot of time to prepare for the gravity of the situation - me taking care of the everything by myself. I now have a new respect for Single Mothers.

The first day wasn't so bad but by today it's gotten a little rough. Dave has been a big help since Sierra was born; I just never realized how much he does. Even something as simple as watching Sierra while I take a shower, eat a meal or play with Byron makes such a difference.


We are all missing Dave and can't wait until he gets back. I've talked to him a few times on speaker in front of Sierra and she will reach out towards the phone. I like think it's because she recognizes his voice but it's probably the pretty glow of the iPhone.
