The Many Faces of Sierra

When we first brought Sierra home, she did a lot of sleeping and barely opened her eyes. In the last week she has become a lot more active and alert; often making faces.

I took some pictures from my phone the other day and here are some of our favorites and what we think they mean:

This her serious face or maybe she trying to pass gas? One thing I never realized about babies is how much they fart. I think she now holds the title in our house, beating Byron.

This is her striking a pose or "Blue Steel."

Finally, this is her trying to give a kiss. Every time she makes this face, I shower her with kisses.
