Sierra turned one month old yesterday. I can't believe a month has already gone by and I am truly amazed by how much she has changed. She now stays awake for short periods of time during the day and is very alert. And when she is lying on her stomach, she will lift her head and look around for a bit. I knew she had grown as she no longer fits into some of her outfits so I was curious to find out how much. Yesterday morning we had our one month checkup with the doctor. We found out that she now weights almost 8 lbs and grew one inch in length. After the appointment, we stopped by Dave's work so his coworkers could meet her. It was fun to get out of the house and interact with other adults. I think Dave liked showing her off.
Now that she is a month old, I am able to go out with her more. I'm looking forward to some shopping, socializing and going to the movies. A nearby movie theater has mommy and baby movies during some weekdays.
